About Dudhpukur Shib Mandir
Dudhpukur Shib Mandir was founded in 2020 with a great vision to serve. The Holy Temple Committee is a dedicated group of individuals who are committed to serving the community through their unwavering devotion to the divine. The members are deeply involved in a variety of humanitarian efforts, from organizing blood donation camps to providing rescue services during natural disasters.
Dudhpukur Shib Mandir also organise The Holika Dahan every year from 2020.
In 2020 & 2021, the committee organized a successful blood donation camp to help those in need, and during the devastating Amphan cyclone, the temple ran a rescue mission that cleared fallen trees and provided food and shelter to those affected. The committee has also been at the forefront of the fight against COVID-19, providing free food and medicines to those who were struggling.
Additionally, every Monday, the temple organize prasad to all who attend, as a symbol of their unwavering commitment to serving the community. With a passion for helping others and a deep love for their faith, the Holy Temple Committee is truly a shining example of what it means to be a servant of the people.
Dudhpur Shib Mandir celebrates several important festivals throughout the year, including the occasion of the Saravan month, Maha Shivratri, Nil Shishti Puja, and the temple anniversary. During these events, the temple organizes a Maha Bhog, a grand feast offering to the deity.
The Saavan month, Maha Shivratri, Nil Shishti Puja, and the temple anniversary are all considered to be very auspicious occasions, and the temple is adorned with beautiful decorations and lights. During these events, large numbers of devotees flock to the temple to offer their prayers and seek blessings from Lord Shiva.
The Maha Bhog is an integral part of the celebrations and is a symbol of the temple’s devotion to our gods. Through this offering, the temple seeks to spread love, peace, and harmony among the devotees and create a sense of community and togetherness.
